The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans is seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors! Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in our community?
We’re especially interested in hearing from Autistic individuals and those from other marginalized identities reflective of the diverse tapestry of the New Orleans Autism Community. We are also hoping to receive applications from individuals living in currently unrepresented parishes in our service area including: St. Charles, St. James, St. Tammany, Washington, and St. Bernard Parishes
As a member of our Board, you’ll have the opportunity to drive positive change, foster inclusion, and champion the rights and well-being of Autistic individuals. Whether you bring expertise in community outreach, fundraising, policy advocacy, or lived experience, your unique perspective is invaluable in supporting our initiatives and programs. Additionally, board members are integral to increasing our funding sources, so we can continue to expand our programs to meet the needs of our community.
Apply today or share this application with anyone you think might be interested and join us in building a more inclusive and supportive environment for Autistic individuals and their families. The connection is you.
If you have any questions about board service or responsibilities, email our Board President Alicia Dardar at alicia@asgno.org
Individualized accommodations to allow full participation in board meetings and activities are available to any individual who needs them. We are inclusive of all communication styles and needs. If you need any assistance filling out the application, or encounter any barriers that limit your ability to apply, contact our Executive Director Claire Tibbetts at info@asgno.org and she will assist you.
